The Area N project will make central sewer available to approximately 1,949 properties.
On July 21, 2009, the Sarasota County Commission approved a contract with E.T. MacKenzie of Florida Inc. for nearly $769,700 for the construction of a vacuum collection system in Area N, Swift Road, Phase 1A.
Wastewater collected from Area N will be pumped to an existing force main on Proctor Road and then directed to the Central County Water Reclamation Facility.
