Sarasota County Lifeguards are the proud recipients of the 2004 Florida Beach Lifeguard Operation of the Year Award

Venice Beach is located at the west end of Venice Avenue one mile west of Business 41, just a hop, skip and a jump from downtown Venice.

Dubbed as the 'sharks tooth capital of the world', it's a popular diving spot where prehistoric sharks teeth and other fossilized artifacts can be found. Add to this the futuristic architectural style of the pavilion and you have one of the most unique and popular beaches in Sarasota County.

Beach / Park Facts: 5 acres of land with 875 feet of developed sandy beach.
