Sarasota County Lifeguards are the proud recipients of the 2004 Florida Beach Lifeguard Operation of the Year Award
North Jetty Beach is located at the south end of Casey Key. The jetty at this beach creates some spectacular surf, making it one of the most exciting surfing spots on the west coast of Florida. If fishing is what you're looking for, this is one of the best places around to cast your line. Great place to sit and watch the boats as they pass through the Intercoastal Waterway to and from the Gulf of Mexico. Plenty of picnicking areas and a covered pavilion makes this beach a popular cook-out spot for families and large groups.
Beach / Park Facts: 18 acres of land with 900 feet of developed sandy beach.
