Sarasota County Lifeguards are the proud recipients of the 2004 Florida Beach Lifeguard Operation of the Year Award




 



 

Nokomis beach is located on Casey Key one mile west of U. S. Highway 41 directly over the Albee Road Intracoastal Bridge. It is Sarasota County's oldest beach.

The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this beach makes it a favorite site for family and picnicking groups. Good fishing can be found on the Intracoastal Waterway located across the road.

Beach / Park Facts: 22 acres of land with 1,700 feet of sandy developed beach and 3,200 feet of Intracoastal Waterway.
