2002 2002 was the first year of existence for the Home Owners Association and we found plenty to do.
Two signs were built at the main community entrances, 34th Street and Stampede Drive. These signs really help give the community an identity, and will be a great source of pride in the community for many generations.
We had street lights installed at our five mailbox locations. These lights we sorely needed for safety, security, and convenience. A compromise was negotiated with the City of Evans, and the cost of the installation was shared evenly between the City and the Home Owners Association.
Tons and tons of gravel were installed in the parkway adjacent to common open space areas. This was done to help reduce the maintenance in the common areas, to provide potential planting areas for trees and/or shrubs, and to encourage home owners to do the same in these curb areas adjacent to their properties.

2003 This year we are focused on making the neighborhood more beautiful. Plans are in place to plant trees shrubs and flowers around our signs and mailboxes.
We hope to connect the north end of our subdivision to the proposed Elk Lakes Park with a pedestrian/bike path.
We also intend to replant the native grasses in the common areas to improve their appearance, and reduce erosion.
