Four companies located in SarasotaCounty will take home awards on Sept. 21 at the “Excellence in Industry” luncheon sponsored by Halfacre Construction Co. at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota. The Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County (EDC) will host the event, which is part of Industry Appreciation Week, a statewide salute to the economic and civic contributions of business.
