Biography
Agnès Corizzi was born in France and settled in Sarasota in 2004 because she loves the United States and above all Florida. But she remains attached to her native country and is eager to share with others all she knows about its history, geography and local traditions and food specialities.
While a freshman in college, Agnès fell in love with French medieval and classical history. At the age of 16, she became a tour guide in the old medieval city of Senlis, near Paris.
Later on she graduated from the Ecole des Sciences Politiques de Paris, where she received a BA with two majors, one in history and one in political science. She also earned an MBA with a major in marketing.
From her former jobs (international buyer for La Redoute company, marketing manager for l’Oréal, then for Dior), Agnès has learned how to communicate her enthusiasm to others. These jobs offered her an opportunity to travel around the world and to explore more deeply some of the exquisite regions in France. Because she loves good food, good wine, and good cooking, Agnès has never missed an opportunity to learn more about the local specialties of the place she was visiting.
